Sandra McPherson purchased a copy of Amos Tutuola’s novel “The Palm-Wine Drinkard” in a used bookshop. Written in the back pages was a handwritten, unpublished poem by Ted Joans. This book publishes it for the first time, and features images of the handwritten poem as well.

It is still in print, and available from Swan Scythe Press.
